This EZ-Scan on-board computer II scanner includes the newly released controller area network protocol, allowing for more capability and flexibility to manage the diagnostic process. The AutoXray EZ-Scan AX6000 (Part # AX6000) is an OBD-I and OBD-II scanner which includes all OBD-II protocols, including the newly released Controller Area Network [CAN] protocol. The tool has the added benefit to display selected enhanced codes and vehicle data for GM, Ford, Chrysler and Toyota. The CAN protocol is currently being used in a variety of vehicles and will be the mandated protocol in all new vehicles by 2008. This tool includes all the features of the EZ-SCAN AX5000 plus OBD-II ENHANCED vehicle coverage for Ford, GM, Chrysler and Toyota.
