The XiScan XR-90 CANBUS Code reader gives home and professional mechanics, an inexpensive, pocket sized, and easy platform for vehicle diagnosis and resetting the check engine light. Did you know something as simple as a loose gas cap can cause your Check Engine Light to come on? However not checking the cause of the trouble light can cause your engine to run rich, dumping unburned fuel into your catalytic convertor. Drive like this and risk, thousands of dollars of damage in emissions control components, as well as the risk of fire!

The XR-90 is fully OBD-II Compliant. This protocol was mandated by the EPA for all cars, light trucks, and SUV's sold in the US since 1996. This standard eliminated the proprietary systems in place before. In addition the CAN-BUS protocol is also supported, this is the next generation system allowing much more detailed information to be retrieved in real time. Future-proof your investment, and guarantee compatibility with vehicles 2002 and newer.

Unlike other systems, the XR-90 is fully self contained. It pulls its power from your cars diagnostic socket, needs no batteries, software, computer or additional cables. Simply connect the 16 pin universal connector to your cars diagnostic port, press the enter button and in under 29 seconds have a read out of the DTC, which is triggering your check engine light. Correct the problem, press clear and your done! Few other tools pack this level of ease, power and simplicity, into such a small package!

Buying a New (for you) Car? Did you know that codes can be pending that will not trigger the check engine light?

Mechanic want to charge you for expensive sensors or engine electronics - get an unbiased second opinion?

Subject to emissions checking? Check to see if you will fail before wasting your time and money on the inspection!

Just left the gas cap loose - It can fix that too!

The MaxiTrip TP100 4-In-One Auto Computer from Autel is an innovative on board vehicle diagnostic device that combines real-time engine monitoring, failure prevention and trip tracking in a single, semi-permanent dashboard mountable device. Perfect for everyone from auto enthusiasts and do-it-yourselfers to parents of young drivers, business owners and anyone looking to maximize fuel efficiency, the unit taps into your vehicle's onboard computer via a standard 16-pin OBD-II data link connector (DLC). This is usually under the driver's side dashboard, but the TP100 can be placed unobtrusively wherever it's most convenient, safe and visible. The data points it measures break down into four distinct use categories: trip computer, digital gauges, scan tool and vehicle "black box".

Used as a trip computer, the MaxiTrip TP100 functions as a compact calculation device designed to monitor information pertaining to your vehicle's performance in real time. In this mode, it will display such useful information as data point variants related to maximum speed, driving distance, distance to empty, average speed, fuel used, time to empty, driving time, trip fuel economy and fuel to empty. Closely related to this function is the TP100's use as a digital gauge device. Useful as a supplement to your car's existing dashboard gauges, these gauges can be configured to measure and monitor up to four different sets of information simultaneously, providing real-time engine performance analysis, allowing you to adjust driving behavior immediately and save gas. Just a few of the gauges that can be displayed are: vehicle speed, engine load, RPM, ignition timing, intake air temperature, battery voltage, and many more. Once your trip is over, the TP100 serves a black box recorder for your vehicle, providing a high level view of activity. Users will be able to save up to 300 hours of driving data for later analysis including data points like time and date for each trip, maximum speed during trip, distance traveled, time overspeed, and more.

Finally, the TP100 also functions as a scan tool, useful for troubleshooting check engine light/Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) instances through the ability to view Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) on OBD-II/EOBD compliant vehicles. OBD-II is the second generation of onboard diagnostics standard for cars and trucks and has been a mandatory requirement for all vehicles sold in the US since 1996, both domestic and imports. EOBD is its European counterpart, required on gasoline models since 2000 and diesel models since 2003. This extensive vehicle coverage means that the vast majority of cars on the road today can utilize the TP100 for initial diagnosis of issues as they happen. Along with its DTC functionality TP100 also includes many other functions including: the ability to view freeze frame MIL-related data recorded by vehicle computers, the retrieval of vehicle information (VIN, CIN and CVN), and the ability to read and clear trouble codes and MIL indicators.

This innovative 4-in-one automotive computer from Autel is exactly what is needed for real-time engine monitoring, failure prevention and trip tracking. The compact and intelligent gadget includes four most useful modes namely, trip computer, digital gauges, scan tool and vehicle black box. It is a compact automotive computer designed to monitor information about the vehicle in real time as well as displays useful information such as average trip MPG, tank MPG, average speed per trip, average speed per tank of gas, miles to empty, miles driven on tank and more. This maxitrip can be configured to measure and monitor up to four different sets of information simultaneously, providing real-time engine performance analysis, allowing one to adjust driving behavior as well as save gas. It works as a scan tool that is able to help one troubleshoot problems of all OBD2/EOBD compliant vehicles and works as a vehicle black box to store every trip one makes.

High-end Diagnostic Functionality for Your Vehicles
Beginning in the 1980s new cars and trucks began to be wired with a variety of computerized diagnostic systems designed to improve efficiencies, simplify troubleshooting and minimize the need for repairs. These systems produce indicators known as diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) internally, usually indicating something out of the ordinary by illuminating the "check engine"/malfunction indicator light (MIL) on the dashboard of your car. In the 1990s these systems, codes and the hardware connectors used to access them were standardized in North America as OBD (onboard diagnostics) and later OBD-II. Europe and Japan have their own equivalents of EOBD and JOBD. Automotive technicians have long utilized high-end machinery to read and decipher these codes, passing the costs on to consumers, but now automotive do-it-yourselfers can get access to this same advanced information and functionality quickly and inexpensively with the Roadi RDT61.

The RDT61 is a digital diagnostic scan tool that accesses your vehicle's onboard computer via a 16-pin connector located at the end of the device's cable. This connection also provides the device with 8 to 16 volts of power drawn from your vehicle's battery. The RDT61 also possesses optional 9-volt battery power for reading saved data away from the vehicle connection. As part of the industry-wide OBD-II standard, virtually every car, light truck or SUV manufactured and/or sold in the US since 1996 contains a corresponding data link connector (DLC) port located under the dashboard (the location of this port on vehicles manufactured in Europe or Japan may vary). By simply plugging the RDT61 into this port while the engine is off, then switching it on and scrolling to the right menu option users can gain access to codes (generic and vehicle specific) related to MIL events. All code definitions are displayed on the device's backlit 128 x 64 pixel display, ending the need to walk away from your vehicle while testing (full definitions are also available on your computer via the included CD). Some diagnostic codes can be captured as a constant stream produced by key engine sensors, while others require specific engine components to be engaged to produce data, but the functionality of the RDT61 goes well beyond this. It also captures OBD-II freeze frame data, a snapshot of the real-time data that prompts the generation of DTCs, allows for the viewing of live engine data and supports both O2 and onboard component testing, increasing insight into fuel efficiency issues and emissions controls. Together these can serve as power data points in further diagnosis of automotive issues and predict the chances of a vehicle passing state mandated emissions tests. Finally, the diagnostic systems within different vehicles may utilize different OBD-II compliant protocols as conduits connecting the various onboard networks. The RDT61 supports all these protocols, including CAN, VPW, PWM, ISO9141, KW2000, providing comprehensive analysis of your vehicle's functions whenever you want it. Additional features include the ability to retrieve vehicle ID numbers (VIN), USB functionality that allows you to update device software and DTC list via the Internet, and a nylon carrying case.

Key Features:

  • Highly reliable, accurate and durable diagnostic tool with easy-to-read backlit, 128 x 64 pixel display.
